Class will be taught by master of the art, Chris Spencer.

Use wax and dyes to decorate real eggs and create a unique and stunning tree ornament!

 

Learn the ancient wax resist art to decorate real eggs. Participants will plan out a design and then learn to use a stylus to write melted beeswax on an egg shell and then add alternating layers of dye and wax to create a beautiful design. 

Each participant will complete at least one egg during the class period. Each egg will come with an ornament hook to use it as a Christmas tree ornament, if desired! No experience necessary!

 

Class will be held at Mapleton Memorial Hall.

Ages 9 and up. All materials provided.
