Use wax and dyes to decorate real eggs and create a unique and stunning tree ornament! Learn the ancient wax resist art to decorate real eggs. Participants will plan out a design and then learn to use a stylus to write melted beeswax on an egg shell and then add alternating layers of dye and wax to create a beautiful design.
Each participant will complete at least one egg during the class period. No experience necessary!
Class availability is limited to Monday, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays (weekdays after 6 pm) and Saturdays (times can vary).
Class size may be up to 20 people as long as everyone has a space to sit and work.
Ages 8 and up.
Must be able to have open flames (a non-flame required option is available but class size is limited to 6).
All materials provided. Duration: 1.5-2 hours.
Distance of travel is limited to 60 miles (one way) and exceptions may be allowed in certain cases.
